What is it really like to be a professional business coach?
Adrian Fadini, a Certified Business Coach and Trainer based in Sydney, answers your top 5 questions about a career in business coaching and training.
What attracted you to business coaching and training?
“Over the last 20 years, I have owned several businesses with staff and have learned through personal experience the value of training and education. I knew I wanted to have my own business in training and coaching because I know that continuing professional education is essential for any individual or company that wants to move forward.”
What do you like about this business?
“I have been hooked on Brian Tracy ever since I read his first book! His material is straightforward and applying the concepts achieves immediate results. Working with clients and sales teams to improve their skills and knowledge is very rewarding. I like being a part of the team here in Australia as well as the global network. Having my own business gives me the flexibility to enjoy frequent holidays with my family.”
What motivates you?
“I am very results driven. I enjoy working with companies and helping them set goals to get to the next level. I like to create a space for a few hours where people can focus on stimulating their minds. Seeing my clients grow and achieve their targets motivates me.”
What type of person do you think would succeed in this business?
“Someone who is organised, self-motivated and not afraid of hard work. An individual who wants to be their own boss, understands the importance of lifelong learning, and enjoys engaging with business owners and their teams to set and achieve goals. A positive attitude and a willingness to take a chance and invest in yourself is key.”
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a business coach?
“If you have always wanted to work for yourself, you have business experience and you are interested in coaching and training, then look no further. You will receive full training in the programs and can apply the Brian Tracy concepts to upgrade your own skills and knowledge. Working with businesses to close more sales and overcome challenges is very worthwhile. I definitely recommend this business opportunity and I look forward to welcoming new members to our FocalPoint team.”
